Ruby Products / The Helmets / Technical Advantages

Materials

Each Ruby helmet has an outer shell made from layers of carbon fibre, Kevlar and fibreglass. There are numerous carbon fibres covering the entire shell, especially the final layer.Ruby uses technology developed by the aerospace industry, offering huge benefits. Our helmets are lighter, stronger and more impressive than shells made from injected plastic.

Weight

The lightness of your helmet, between 870g and 1070g, depending on the model, will limit the momentum of your head, and consequently the impact on your cervical vertebrae should you come off.

Screws

The aluminum and titanium screws provide greater resistance and weight.

Double density inner shell with ventilation system

For enhanced safety and comfort, the helmet's inner shell is made of materials with various densities. The design incorporates ventilation ducts which enable air to circulate efficiently between your forehead and the back of your neck.

Double D ring fastening

The ultimate solution that allows perfect adjustability for greater safety and comfort.

Leather rear flap

The rear flap provides a small pocket to hold information that could be useful to the emergency services.

Red inner lining

This gives your face a warm surround. The inner lining is padded with foams of different densities while the outer surface is protected with high quality Nappa leather. The fabric used for the lining has AEGIS-treated antibacterial properties(see AEGIS). This treatment is environmentally friendly.

Protective box

The box in which your helmet is delivered ensures it has been protected from impact since initial manufacturing, and is therefore undamaged.
